Dentist - Dr James Kim
(B.D.S University of Sydney)
Dr Kim attended James Ruse Agriculture High School in 1993 -1994. In 1995 - 1999, Dr Kim then attended University of Sydney and completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. After his degree, Dr Kim then went on to be employed and work as an Associate Dentist at Expresssions, in Manuka ACT in 2000-2001.
To further his dental experience, Dr Kim worked in Palm Beach as an Associate Dentist between 2002-2003, then from 2002-2003 he worked alongside Dr Tony Collins, who is the current president of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry.
In 2003, Dr Kim established his own dental practice, Hills Dental Care in Castle Hill. He is an active member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), The Australian Society of Implant Dentistry as well as The Brener Implant Institute in North Sydney. Dr Kim enjoys regularly participating in continuing education courses throughout Austalia, Korea and Japan. He has recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) at University of Sydney to further his knowledge and strive for excellence for his practice.
Dentist - Dr Sandra Yang
(B.D.S University of Sydney)
Dr Yang attended Sydney Girls' High School From 1993 - 1998. From 1999 - 2002 Dr Yang completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at University of New South Wales, Sandra then studied further from 2004 - 2007 and achieved her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at University of Sydney. Dr Yang has since worked for private practices on the North shore and northern suburbs.
Since Joining our practice in April 2010, Sandra has proven to be an honest, caring and highly valued team member. Sandra is dedicated to always providing the highest quality treatment to all of her patients. Sandra is an active member of the Australian Dental Association(ADA) and consistantly attends lectures and seminars throughout Australia to further enhance her knowledge and skills in all facets of dentistry. Dr Yang's reputation of gentility and patience, especially with children, is well known throughout the community.
Dental Hygienist/Therapist - Nina Martens
(B.O.H University of Newcastle, Dip. Dental Therapy, Westmead)
Hills Dental Care are very pleased to Introduce our newest team member Nina Martens, our very gentle and talented Dental Hygienist and Therapist. Nina became part of our team in April 2011, Nina plays an essential role in the prevention as well as maintenance of our patient's oral hygiene. Nina attended Cheltenham Girls High School from 1996 - 2001. From 2002 - 2003 Nina attended Westmead Collage of Dental to complete her Diploma of Dental Therapy. Nina then worked as a Dental Therapist in the School Dental Service for the Northern Sydney and Central Coast region.
From 2006 - 2007 Nina furthered her dental experience by completing her Bachelor of Oral Health to become a Dental Hygienist. Nina has since carried out work for Menzies School of Health Research in Darwin, working alongside the Royal Flying Doctor Service in many remote Aboriginal communities as well as a busy private practice in Darwin. Nina never leaves home without her floss.
Oral Surgeon & Dental Sedationist - Dr Parker
BDSc (Hons), Grad Dip Clin Dent (Oral Surgery),
Grad Dip Clin Dent (Conscious Sedation & Pain Control)
Dr Parker is highly experienced in providing Intravenous Sedation to dental patients. He was originally trained in the anaesthethic department of Dunedin Hospital in 1997. He then underwent further trainiing when he completed post-graduate qualifications in the field of Conscious Sedation and Pain Control at Sydney University in 2000 where he was awarded the ASDA (Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesia) award for the top qualifying student. He has also completed the prestigiousEMST(early management od severe trauma) course held by Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr Parker also lectures nationally and internationally on topics concerned with pain and anxiety control. He gives practical workshops to dentists in the areas of advanced local anesthesia and inhalational sedation. Dr Parker is approved by the dental board of australia as a Dental Sedationist

Nicolle and Tracey, our dental assistant's, will always spend the time necessary to make your visit stress-free. They also help to relay information to give you a better understanding of the why treatment is needed. They have a reputation for being extremely caring and compassionate and always go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.
